Fingerprinting
  • Required upon any arrest of any jailable offense or when necessary for background investigations.
    • When can you get fingerprinted?
      • The Franklin Police Department does fingerprints for the public on Friday’s from 9:00am to 1:00pm.
    • What will you need?
      • Government Issued Picture Id (e.g.: Driver’s License, ID card, Passport, Etc.)
      • $5.00 (unless prints are taken for government employment.)

*As a reminder all administrative offices are closed on State and Federal holidays.

  • The Franklin Police Department is open 24/7 for anyone in need.
  • Normal business hours for the front office are from 8:30am to 5:00pm, Monday thru Friday.
  • For assistance after hours, pick up the phone in the police department lobby.
  • If in need of assistance from a Secretary or Administrative Officer, please come during normal business hours.
